My journey with ami2u has been an enjoyable and rewarding one, and I have very much enjoyed planning, creating and seeing you receive your boxes every month. However, I have taken the difficult decision to close down ami2u for the present.
There have been several changes in my personal life, including an upcoming house move as well as my partner changing jobs and becoming self-employed. I want to be able to support him in his new venture. I also would like to have more time to craft for pleasure, which I very much miss. I may resurrect the business in the future, but the time is not right for me to continue at the moment. I would like to thank all my subscribers for their support, custom and engagement on social media. I’ve absolutely loved seeing your reactions to the boxes and picture of your versions of the projects. Please do keep posting these online and in the Facebook group, which I will keep active. I’d also like to thank the very talented designer, Alison Holloway of PetalsCraftsandMe for her wonderfully creative responses to my design briefs. Alison is expanding her design work and I wish her every success. The fantastic Three Bears Yarn also deserve thanks and recognition for promoting British business with their high-quality yarns, spun and dyed in Blackburn. Their support for ami2u as a small British business has been very helpful. The July box will be the last one, and subscriptions through PayPal will be cancelled. Thanks again and happy crafting!
